It marks the first occasion we have a clear view of the next-generation Tiguan. The exterior has received a substantial transformation in line with Volkswagen's latest design approach.

Tiguan Price : The Volkswagen Tiguan comes with a price tag of Rs 35.17 lakh, available at all showrooms across India. This SUV offers a single variant option for buyers.

Safety: Experience unwavering control and safety in the Volkswagen Tiguan, regardless of your destination. Its LED matrix headlights are equipped with the intelligent IQ.LIGHT system, including dynamic front lighting with range control, cornering light, and poor weather illumination, catering to various driving scenarios. The advanced front lighting system (AFS) adjusts the headlight beam geometry, optimizing visibility. The dark red LED combination tail lights at the rear leave a lasting impression. Boasting more than 40 safety features, the Tiguan offers stress-free driving, featuring six airbags that adapt to crash impact, Electronic Stability Control, Electronic Differential Lock, and an Anti-lock Braking System to prevent skids.

Engine and Transmission : The Tiguan is powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, delivering 187 bhp and 320Nm of torque. It employs a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and features an all-wheel drive system.

Dimensions : The Volkswagen Tiguan measures 4509mm in length, 1839mm in width, and stands at a height of 1665mm.

Features : Inside, the Volkswagen Tiguan is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen system that supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It also includes a digital instrument cluster, Touch and Slide AC Control, 3-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera view, captivating 30-color ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.

Colour Options : Buyers can select from seven elegant monotone colors for Volkswagen Tiguan, including Nightshade Blue, Pure White, Oryx White, Deep Black, Dolphin Grey, Reflex Silver, and Kings Red.

Rivals : The Tiguan faces competition from the Hyundai Tucson, Jeep Compass, and Citroen C5 Aircross in the market.

The Volkswagen Tiguan is a good option for the crossover SUV segment. It has some tough rivals, yet it sells in decent numbers. The tiguan has only one petrol engine and one variant. It provides pure German driving pleasure and the best in class features on offer . If you prioritize a diesel engine or a better product in this segment , explore the Toyota Fortuner, Hyundai Tuscon, or Isuzu MUX.

The front design of the Tiguan boasts a charming look as an elder brother to the Taigun. The LED Headlights provide good illumination at night. The chrome used on the front grill and lower down enhances the premium appearance of the vehicle.
From the side proportions, it seems more of a crossover than a full-size SUV. It is similar to the Taigun in design. The 18” alloy wheels provide good comfort on the inside. The subtle use of chrome gives it an aesthetically pleasing character.
The rear is the main difference between the younger siblings. The taillamp design is elegant and the use of chrome lower-down makes it more appealing.

Feels luxurious and sleek, attractive looks, great performance, excellent handling and good ride, fantastic build, fit and finish. Mileage is 8 to 10 kmpl in the city and 13 to 14 kmpl on the highways. Missing some features that you would expect at this price, but they were not deal breakers for me.
