TVS Motor Company is known for making powerful machines and also affordable practical two-wheelers for the common buyers. TVS sells a lot of gearless scooters in India. These include Scooty Pep Plus, Jupiter, Ntorq 125 and also the Scooty Zest. The Scooty Zest 110 is a very popular scooter from the house of this Madras-based Indian two-wheeler manufacturer. TVS Scooty Zest 110 was first launched in the year 2014. In 2017, it got the BS4 update with some minor cosmetic upgrades and feature add-ons. Now, in 2020, the company has launched the BS6-compliant version of the Scooty Zest 110. The Scooty Zest slots in above the Scooty Pep Plus and sits below the Jupiter in the company's India line-up. Also, it's worth mentioning that the Scooty Zest 110 was the first 110cc scooter in India to conquer the Khardung La.

TVS Scooty Zest 110 is a good-looking scooter. It doesn't get any fancy equipment but looks good. At the front, it gets a halogen headlamp mounted on the handlebar with daytime running LED placed on the apron. It also gets stylish turn indicators on the body panels and the rear-view mirrors are finished in the body colour. The Scooty Zest gets a three-dimensional logo on the side and it also gets dual-tone seats. Moreover, the scooter gets beige treatment on the inside panels which further enhance its appeal. At the rear, it gets a LED taillight.

Talking about dimensions, so the Sccoty Zest 110 measures 1770 mm in length, 660 mm in width and 1139 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 1250 mm and the saddle height (seat-height) stands at just 760 mm. It weighs just 97 kilograms which makes it one of the lightest 110cc scooters in India. It has a fuel tank capacity of 5-litres. The Scooty Zest 110 is available in a total of five colour variants. These are Matte Red, Matte Blue, Matte Yellow, Matte Purple and Turquoise Blue.

2020 TVS Scooty Zest 110 BS6: Engine, Transmission and Mileage

The new TVS Scooty Zest 110 is powered by a BS6-compliant 109.7cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor churns out 7.7 PS of power (BS4 was 7.9 PS) at 7500 RPM and 8.8 Nm (BS4 was 8.4 Nm) of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine comes mated to a CVT and it also gets TVS' Eco-Thrust Fuel-injection (ET-Fi) technology. This ET-Fi technology helps to deliver better fuel-efficiency and engine smoothness. It will deliver a mileage of around 45-50 kmpl in real-world conditions. The BS4 Scooty Zest 110 had the fastest pick-up in its segment with a 0-60 kmph time of just 11.1 seconds.

2020 TVS Scooty Zest 110 BS6: Tyres, Brakes and Features

TVS Scooty Zest 110 runs on 10-inch tubeless tyres. The front tyre of the scooter measures 90/100-10 while the rear one is a 90/90 section 10-inch unit. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and a hydraulic mono-shock absorber at the rear. It gets a 110 mm drum brake at the front and a 130 mm drum unit at the rear. It also gets TVS' Synchronised Braking Technology (SBT) as an additional safety aid. The Scooty Zest gets a massive 19-litres under-seat storage with a USB smartphone charger and LED light. It also gets a parking brake and an analogue instrument cluster.

The 2020 TVS Scooty Zest 110 BS6 is available in two variants: Himalayan Highs Series and Matte Series. The Himalayan Highs Series of the Zest 110 is priced at Rs. 59,925 while the Matte Series retails at Rs. 61,425. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The new Scooty Zest 110 BS6 rivals the Honda Dio, Honda Activa 6G, TVS Jupiter and Hero Pleasure Plus.
