2024 Bajaj Chetak Premium: What To Expect?

Bajaj Auto recently introduced the 2024 Chetak Urbane, bringing in several updates that enhance both features and range. In a parallel development, expectations are high for the upcoming 2024 Bajaj Chetak Premium, anticipated to maintain its existing design elements. This includes the distinctive retro theme, featuring a round LED headlight, stylish side panels, a cohesive single-piece seat, and classic curved fenders. The current model offers a choice of three colours: Hazel Nut, Indigo Metallic, and Brooklyn Black, but there's speculation that Bajaj might introduce new paint options for the 2024 Chetak Premium.

As part of the anticipated upgrades, the Bajaj Chetak Premium is likely to boastfully LED illumination and an expanded digital console. These improvements will be accompanied by advanced features such as smartphone connectivity and navigation. The addition of a dedicated app for comprehensive connectivity is expected to enhance the riding experience. Furthermore, the upgraded model will retain popular features like ride modes, geo-fencing, hill-hold, reverse mode, vehicle tracking, and CBS.

Beyond its current features, the Bajaj Chetak Premium stands to gain significant enhancements, particularly in the form of a larger battery for extended range and a slightly tweaked motor to achieve a higher top speed. Presently, it employs a 2.9kWh battery coupled with a 3.8kW motor, resulting in a top speed of 63 km/h and an impressive maximum range of 107 km. The Chetak suspension system includes a mono-shock at both ends, and it relies on a single-disc brake setup with alloy wheels.

As of now, Bajaj markets the Chetak Premium at Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom, Pune). However, potential buyers should be aware that the introduction of upgraded features and a larger battery pack in the upcoming models might lead to a price adjustment.
