Kawasaki India launched the highly anticipated Ninja ZX-6R on the first day of the new year, introducing it at an attractive price of Rs 11.09 lakh (ex-showroom). The motorcycle boasts enhanced aesthetics, mechanical advancements, and cutting-edge technology. Notably, it features an upgraded version of the 636 cc inline-four engine. This launch marks a significant step forward, combining sleek design elements, performance improvements, and modernized features, making it an exciting addition to the Indian market.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R: What To Expect?

The latest ZX-6R showcases a refreshed design, notably highlighted by its sleek new headlamps, adding a distinct sharpness. Moving towards the rear, the iconic Ninja series taillamp maintains its signature style. Available in a singular variant, the bike offers a choice between two sophisticated colours  Lime Green and Metallic Graphite Gray.

In terms of features, the ZX-6R introduces a cutting-edge TFT full-colour display, seamlessly connecting to smartphones through the Kawasaki Rideology app. Emphasizing versatility, the motorcycle offers multiple ride modes, including Sport, Rain, Road, and customizable Rider modes.

In the realm of powertrains, the ZX-6R boasts a liquid-cooled, inline-four, 636 cc engine, undergoing notable enhancements. These include revamped exhaust headers, a fresh cam profile, and a redesigned exhaust system. The refined powertrain delivers 122.3 bhp and 69 Nm of peak torque, albeit slightly lower than its predecessor. This robust engine seamlessly interfaces with a 6-speed transmission, ensuring a harmonious blend of performance and precision. The braking system on this new bike features dual semi-floating 310mm discs with 4-piston callipers at the front and a single 220mm petal disc with a single-piston calliper at the rear. This robust braking setup is seamlessly integrated with the Kawasaki Intelligent Anti-Lock Brake System (KIBS) ABS system, ensuring enhanced safety.
