Aprilia RS 457, the most affordable bike from the brand is now expensive from January 2025 with a hike of Rs. 10,000 applicable as standard with all the colour options. The bike which earlier was available at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 4.10 lakhs is now revised to Rs. 4.20 lakhs ex-showroom. This is in line with industry direction where a lot of manufacturers are making an upward revision, citing rising costs of input and logistics. Aprilia RS 457 Price Hiked
The Aprilia RS 457 is a sporty, mid-sized motorcycle that tries to give you a good mix of performance, sharp looks, and a reasonable price. As for the latest price hike, it was announced back in December along with the quanta of the increase. It's built around a light aluminum frame and has decent suspension and brakes, plus modern tech like dual-channel ABS, a ride-by-wire throttle, different riding modes, USD front forks, and a 5-inch color TFT instrument console, among other features. The RS 457 offers a comfortable riding position, and the styling definitely has that sporty, head-turning vibe that Aprilia is known for, drawing on its racing heritage.
As for the heart of it, it comes powered by a 457cc, parallel-twin engine that kicks out a healthy 46.7hp and 43.5 Nm of torque. However, if you want something more with the RS 457, you can opt for the optional accessories that include a quick-shifter, adjustable levers, a pillion seat cover, a high windscreen, USB charging, TPMS, and more.

Aprilia Tuono 457 ADV Launch Soon
The Aprilia Tuono 457, which we first saw at EICMA in Italy back in 2024, has now popped up on Aprilia's Indian website, which is a confirmed hint that it's heading your way. And to add to that, some dealers are already taking pre-bookings, even before its official launch here in India. Underneath the skin, the Tuono 457 is basically the same as the RS 457, sharing the same chassis, engine, frame, wheels, and brakes. Feature-wise, this naked bike comes with traction control, full LED lighting, different riding modes, ABS, and a nice color TFT screen with Bluetooth. It's likely that we'll see it make its official Indian debut at the Auto Expo in the coming days.
Verdict
Aprilia is expanding its portfolio on the back of the success of the Aprilia RS 457, which in its class, is a solid performer and a head-turner with its looks. While the price hike was nothing out of the blue, the eyes are now on the incoming Aprilia Tuono 457, which has a lot of anticipation as buyers are eager to see how the brand pulls off an ADV, and if its could nail the demanding aspects of it, when launched.
