Aprilia RS 457 India Price Will Be Sub Rs 4 Lakh - Prices Announced Globally

Aprilia has recently showcased its first sub-600cc bike i.e. the 457. Now, with its pre-bookings open, Aprilia has announced its pricing in the USA & Canada. The new entry-level Aprilia RS 457 sports bike will soon launch in India as well. Read the expected pricing, and India launch details below.

Aprilia RS 457 India Price, Launch, Specs - Details

Aprilia has already debuted the 457 in India as well as globally. In fact, the pre-bookings are already open. Now, the bike has been launched in the USA & Canada with an aggressive price tag. In the USA, it is priced at $6,799 (Rs 5.66 lakh) for the Prismatic Dark colour & $6,899 (Rs 5.74 lakh) for the Opalescent Light colour. Meanwhile, the Canadian market has received a slightly lower price which is CD 7,999 (Rs 4.83 lakh) for the racing stripes version & CD 7,799 (Rs 4.71 lakh) for the normal colours. The bike was recently showcased at EICMA as well where the officials told media that it'll soon launch in India. Quoting that with an ambitious price tag, Aprilia also informed the media that pricing for India will be attractive but not for everyone.

Therefore, we can predict that the bike will at least cost somewhere around Rs 3.75 lakh to Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom), once launched. Speaking of the details, it looks like a baby RS660 but with a smaller frame & smaller size. The design cues have been retained from the bigger RS series sports bikes. It is powered via an all-new 457cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine which makes a peak of 47 bhp power. It is mated to a 6-speed transmission unit with a slipper assist clutch. Features list includes - a TFT digital console, Bluetooth connectivity for phones, three riding modes, switchable rear ABS, traction control, quick shifter, LED lights, etc.
