Electric scooter manufacturer BGauss has finally launched its all-new offering RUV350 in India. The company claims it is the country's first Recreational Utility Vehicle (RUV). The all-new RUV350 is the second offering of the BGauss in India. With the new RUV, BGauss has carved a new niche in the electric scooter segment in India. BGauss RUV350 Design
The all-new RUV350 gets a differentiating design with its big-size alloy wheels. Overall, the scooter comes with a rugged and sturdy design. The headlamps and DRLs are positioned at the handlebar which looks simply elegant. Apart from this, the electric scooter comes with stitching on the seat cover, dual-tone colours for exteriors, and contrast wheel covers - Yellow, Orange and Grey.
Powertrain and Features
The all-new RUV350 sources its power from the 3.07 kWh battery pack and BGauss's new In-Wheel Hyperdrive motor which generates 3.5 kWh of power and replaces the older D15's rear hub motor. The motor utilised on the e-scooter is an IP67-certified unit and churns out 165 Nm of peak torque. On the feature front, the BGauss RUV350 gets tubeless tyres, under-seat storage, and a fully digital instrument console with connected technology, reverse mode and 3 drive modes- Eco, Sports and Normal. Other advanced features of the e-scooter include Bluetooth connectivity, turn by turn navigation, e document storage, call alerts, FOTA. Live tracking and others.

The all-new RUV350 is available in three variants- RUV350i EX, RUV350 EX and the top-end RUV350 Max. The base variant is priced at Rs. 1.09 lakh, the mid-RUV 350 EX variant is priced at Rs. 1.24 lakh while the top-end RUV 350 EX variant comes with a price tag of Rs Rs. 1.34 lakh in India. All prices are ex-showroom.
