The electric vehicle arm of Hero MotoCorp, Vida, has announced the launch of a limited-edition VX2 Plus electric scooter. Called the Vida VX2 KKR Edition, the new model features cosmetic updates over the standard version. The scooter has been launched at Rs 1.16 lakh. The newly introduced Knight Edition draws inspiration from the fearless spirit and championship legacy of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Vida VX2 Plus Knight Edition
The newly launched Vida VX2 Knight Edition features a Pearl Black paint scheme with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)-inspired Knight Purple and Gold livery. It gets a golden halftone gradient with micro-dotted patterns that blend seamlessly with the pearl black body colour. Additionally, KKR stickers are placed across various parts of the scooter. Apart from these cosmetic enhancements, no other changes have been made.
The Vida VX2 continues to come equipped with an LED headlamp with integrated LED DRLs, handlebar-mounted LED turn signals, alloy wheels, and a long seat for both the rider and pillion, among other features. The scooters youthful design complements the KKR theme well, giving it a distinctive and sporty appeal.
The Vida VX2 Plus is powered by a 3.4 kWh removable battery pack, offering a claimed range of 142 km on a single charge. Paired with a 6 kW motor, it delivers a top speed of 80 kmph and can sprint from 040 kmph in 3.1 seconds. The battery can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in around 6062 minutes using a fast charger, while a full charge with a standard charger takes over four hours.

Alongside the VX2 Plus Knight Edition, fans can also get a limited-edition KKR helmet, designed in the franchises signature colours. Moreover, for every match won by the Kolkata Knight Riders, a KKR player will receive a customised VX2 Plus KKR Limited Edition featuring the players name and jersey number.

With the newly launched KKR Edition of the Vida VX2 Plus, the brand aims to attract a younger customer base.
