Triumph 350cc Motorcycle Lineup Unofficial Bookings Open

Reports indicate that interested buyers can reserve the upcoming Triumph 350cc motorcycle by paying a booking amount of Rs 5,000, with deliveries expected to begin as early as the second week of April, hinting that the official launch may not be far away. The upcoming Triumph 350cc motorcycle range is expected to consist of multiple models targeting different riding styles. Early information suggests that the lineup will include the Speed, T4, and Scrambler versions, all of which are likely to follow the brand's signature neo-retro design approach.

In addition to these models, Triumph is also believed to be developing a Bonneville 350, although that particular motorcycle is expected to arrive slightly later. Dealers claim that stock for the first batch of 350cc motorcycles may begin reaching showrooms by early April, supporting the expected delivery timeline. These new motorcycles are aimed at strengthening Triumph's footprint in India's growing entry-level premium motorcycle segment.

Engine & Platform Details

The upcoming Triumph 350cc motorcycles are expected to share their foundation with the current 398cc single-cylinder platform used in the Triumph Speed 400 and Triumph Scrambler 400 X. However, to bring the engine capacity below the 350cc threshold, Triumph and Bajaj are likely to modify the engine's bore or stroke configuration. While the overall engine architecture is expected to remain largely similar, the smaller displacement will likely result in slightly reduced power and torque figures compared to the 400cc versions. Since motorcycles with engines below 350cc attract an 18 percent GST rate, compared to the 40 percent tax applicable to bikes above 350cc, the new models could become significantly more affordable.
