Ola S1, S1 Pro Electric Scooter Launched in India - Check Out The Price, Specs and Other Details

Ola has today finally launched its first-ever electric scooters in the Indian market. The company has launched the new Ola S1 and the S1 Pro electric scooters in the country. The all-new Ola electric scooters look a class apart. They are loaded with a ton of features, a promising powertrain and more. The price of the new Ola Electric Scooter starts in India from Rs 99,999 in most of the states and here are all the details you need to know about it.

Ola Electric Scooter - Powertrain's Specifications

The all-new Ola S1 electric scooter gets a 2.98kWh non-removable battery while the S1 Pro gets a 3.97kWh unit. These new Ola electric scooters are claimed to offer a riding range of around 121 kms and 181 kms on a single charge respectively. Ola says that these electric scooters get a hyperdrive motor and will have a peak power output of 8.5kW (11.5 PS) and 58 Nm of peak torque. The Ola S1 has a claimed top speed of 90 kmph while the S1 Pro's claimed top speed is 115 kmph. Ola claims that its S1 Pro can do 0-40 kmph in just 3 seconds. The Ola S1 and the S1 Pro can be fully charged in a claimed 4.4 hours and 6.30 hours respectively via a home charger. With the help of a fast charger, 0-50 per cent battery can be achieved in 15 minutes.

The new Ola Electric Scooters get a host of features. These electric scooters feature a large 7.0-inch TFT display that shows a ton of information about the scooter and they get 3GB RAM paired with an octa-core processor. The other key features of the electric scooters include hill hold control, reverse assist, cruise control, voice assist function, built-in speakers, etc. The Ola Electric Scooters even get a host of colour options. The base S1 variant is available in 5 colours only while the S1 Pro variant will get all 10 colour shades, which include Blue, Red, Silver, Yellow, Pink, Black White, Grey, etc.

Finally, let's talk about the variants and price. So, the price of the new Ola Electric Scooter starts in India at Rs 99,999 for the base S variant while the top-spec S Pro variant has been priced at Rs 1,29,999. However, thanks to the EV subsidies offered by various Indian states, the price of the new Ola Electric Scooter becomes even more exciting. For instance, the new Ola S1 electric scooter costs just Rs 79,999 while the new Ola S1 Pro will cost you around Rs 1,09,999 in Gujarat. The new Ola S1 and S1 Pro Electric Scooters will rival the likes of the Ather 450X, Bajaj Chetak Electric, TVS iQube, etc.
