PURE ecoDryft Electric Bike Launched In India With 135 Km Range

PURE ecoDryft electric bike has debuted in the Indian EV market. The new commuter e-bike from PURE is targeted at mass segment buyers.

As the EV segment of India blooms, new products are being launched every now & then. One such EV maker is PURE. The PURE ecoDryft electric bike has now debuted in India. It comes with a bigger & better performance-packed battery pack. Read all of its details below.

PURE ecoDryft Design & Features

As it is destined for the mass market, its design is rather conventional. Its overall shape and riding posture resembles that of an ICE-powered commuter bike. Meanwhile, it does come with the latest features. PURE has ensured to fit LED lights on it along with a digital instrument panel.

Additionally, the user can connect their smartphone via Bluetooth connectivity feature. Its modern commuter looks are further enhanced with an 18-inch front alloy wheel & a 17-inch rear alloy wheel. Meanwhile, it gets disc brakes at both of its ends.

The modern commuter design of the ecoDryft is enhanced with a cushioned single-piece seat. However, the pillion gets a sturdy tubular grab rail and side saree-guard protection. Its overall design does resemble some of the other ICE bikes. But, a look underneath the fake fuel tank ensures that it is an EV by every means. PURE has fitted a battery pack and electric motor underneath it. All of the portions of it are covered well; hence longevity of mechanicals.

PURE ecoDrfyt Battery & Electric Motor Specifications

PURE has equipped the ecoDryft with a 3kWh battery pack. This Li-ion battery pack has been partnered with a 3kW electric motor. This motor makes a peak power output of 4 bhp (as per conversion standards with ICE). However, the peak torque stands at 40 Nm at 60 kmph; as tested by the company. All thanks to this setup, it can easily achieve a top speed of 75 kmph. The company also claims that it can do 0-40 kmph in 5 seconds while 0-60 is done in 10 seconds.

Meanwhile, the ARAI-certified riding range of the battery stands at 135 kmph. However, as it is a claimed figure we're sure that the real-world figures will plunge somewhere around 110-120 km per charge.

Verdict

The company has not revealed the pricing of its newest offering. However, PURE says it will officially let the prices out in Jan'23. Meanwhile, bookings for it have commenced pan India. Some of its main rivals include - HOP Oxo, Revolt RV 400, & Oben Rorr.
