Simple One - Price, Powertrain, And Rivals

Recently, Simple Energy introduced their Simple ONE e-scooter, starting at a base price of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). The scooter boasts a palette of six captivating colours, including Azure Blue, Namma Red, LightX Edition, Brazen Black, Grace White, and BrazenX Edition.

The scooter is driven by a 4.5kW (6.1bhp) electric motor, peaking at 8.5kW (11.5bhp) with 72Nm torque. Its belt-driven system accelerates from 0 to 40kmph in just 2.77 seconds (claimed), hitting a top speed of 105kmph (claimed). With four modes  Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic  it offers versatility. Braking from 60kmph, it covers 27m, as per the brand's claims.

In the electric scooter arena, the Simple One faces off against worthy rivals like the Hero Vida V1, Ola S1 Pro, and Ather 450X.
