
One of the most anticipated SUVs of the country and that too from the Czech manufacturer, Skoda, has to be the Kushaq and now they have released the official interior sketches for the same. The Hyundai Creta rival will make its world premiere from India on March 18.

The interiors seem to have a lot of inspiration from the Vision IN concept which was first showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. The orange highlights on the dashboard, door panels and the gearknob area really gel well and the production-spec model might get a white interior scheme.

Then you also get a larger touchscreen infotainment system with AC vents right below the system. The 2-spoke steering wheel really brings up a nice charm to the cabin and it will host several features like volume up/down, cruise control, phone calls and lane assist.
Sharing details on the engine options then the Kushaq will feature two petrol engine only - a 1.0-litre TSI which is seen on the Rapid and a more powerful 1.5L TSI which will be reserved for the higher variants. The smaller engine makes 110 PS of power with a peak torque of 175 Nm. At the time of the launch, this engine will get a 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed torque converter unit.

Skoda Kushaq is expected to launch with a price tag starting from Rs 9.89 lakh and the top model fetching till Rs 16.29 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Once launched, it will compete with Kia Seltos, Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Creta and MG Hector.
