Tork Motors Started Sales & After Sales Service On Wheels Via Pit Crew - Details

The Pune-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Tork Motors debuted a new service on World EV Day. This service allows customers to receive after-sale support at home while also having their Tork vehicles delivered at doorstep. This new service will be delivered by Pit Crew, its mobile service van.

Tork Pit Crew

The Pit Crew service is only offered in Pune, the home state of Tork, though the company plans to expand it to other states as well, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai. Additionally, Tork Motors is expanding its dealer network across many states. The company will be able to reach more customers thanks to this new service, and it will also assist current customers in receiving better service.

All equipment, spare parts, and consumables required to assist urgent and last-minute vehicle maintenance requirements will be carried by the Tork Pit Crew. Similar to a racetrack pit crew, they will also be connected to the cloud to identify any software flaws and deliver any necessary upgrades for the motorcycles while they are being serviced. Additionally, it has two 700-watt battery chargers.

At present, Tork Motors only have two electric two-wheeler in its portfolio, called the Kratos and Kratos R electric motorcycle. The standard Kratos has fewer features and less power, while Kratos R has both more functionality and power. The 7.5 kW electric motor and 4kWh battery in the regular Kratos produce 10 bhp of power and 28 Nm of peak torque.

One of the most noticeable differences between the basic and high-performance variants of the Tork Kratos R is its axial flux motor, which has the same 4kWh battery and 9 kW motor and produces a maximum power output of 12 bhp and a peak torque output of 38 Nm.
