The latest transition kicks off with the OBD-2B compliant version of the TVS Jupiter 110, a popular family scooter that now meets the latest emission norms while bringing new-age technology to the segment.

TVS Starts OBD-2B Transition
With the Jupiter 110 spearheading this shift, TVS has committed to upgrading its entire vehicle portfolio to OBD-2B standards by March 2025. This compliance ensures that all new models come equipped with advanced sensors and real-time monitoring capabilities to optimize engine performance, fuel efficiency and emissions control.
The On-Board Diagnostics (OBD-2B) system evaluates crucial engine parameters such as throttle response, air-fuel ratio, engine temperature, fuel levels and engine speed. This data is processed by an intelligent ECU that ensures that the vehicle operates efficiently while minimizing environmental impact.
