Yamaha Motorcycles & Scooters With Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Technology

As technology is increasing in every sector, two-wheeler makers are making their products more user-friendly, by adding more and more modern features into their lineup. For its two-wheelers in India, the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Yamaha is also providing its "Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X" technology. The Connect X application uses Bluetooth technology to provide a seamless riding experience. In this post, we'll cover some of the two-wheelers that Yamaha offers with Connect X technology.

Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Features

There are six features included with the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X feature, including Hazard lights, riding history, parking record, Geolocation where the turn indicators will illuminate for 10 seconds, E-Lock, which locks your motorcycle to avoid theft, and Answer Back, which activates the horn and blinks the bike's indicators.

Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid
Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X

Yamaha Fascino 125 Hybrid comes with a 125cc engine which produces 8 bhp of power and 10.3 Nm of peak torque. There are two versions of the Fascino 125, one with drum brakes and the other with disc brakes. The Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X support s available in the Fascino 135 and five of the six capabilities of the appAnswer back, Riding history, Locate my car, Hazard and parking recordare included. The scooter is priced from Rs 76,100 and goes as high as Rs 85,030. (ex-showroom).

Yamaha RayZR-FI is a sporty scooter from the house of the Japanese two-wheeler maker in India. It has the same engine and generates the same level of torque and power as the Fascino. Similar to the Fascino 125, it has the same number of Connect X functions. Yamaha offers the RayZR in three variations, with the drum brake version costing Rs 80,230, the disc brake version costing Rs 85,330, and the top-of-the-line RayZR Street Rally version costing Rs 89,330. (ex-showroom).

In the Indian market, the Yamaha Aerox 155 is a potent lifestyle maxi-scooter. The scooter gets the same R15 engine, agile handling, and distinctive design. A 155cc, VVA, single-cylinder engine with 14.7 bhp and 13.9 Nm of peak torque is available for the Aerox 155. The scooter has Bluetooth connectivity thanks to the Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X application, which also provides access to the following features: Fuel consumption tracking, maintenance recommendations, last parking location, malfunction notice, revs dashboard and ranking among other riders. The Aerox 155 comes with a price tag of Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom).

Yamaha R15 Series ( R15M, R15 V4)

One of the most famous motorcycle from the brand's lineup is the R15. It is a pure sports bike with a 150cc engine which gives great performance. The R15 comes with a 155cc engine which can produce 18 bhp of power and 14.2 Nm of power. With the Yamaha Y-Connect app the rider can get information about SMS and email call alerts on the instrument panel, a battery level indication for the phone. Other features of the Connect X include tracking of fuel usage, maintenance advice, last parking location, malfunction warning, revs dashboard, and ranking among other riders.

The Yamaha R15 M has an ex-showroom starting price of Rs. 1.88 lakh, while the R15 V4 has an ex-showroom starting price of Rs. 1.78 lakh that rises to Rs. 1.83 lakh (ex-showroom).

Yamaha FZ S FI & FZ X

Yamaha FZ S FI and FZ X both features the same set of specifications and features. It comes with a 149cc engine which can produce 12.2 bhp of power and 13.3 Nm of peak torque. The FZ X features a retro kind of design whereas the FZ S features a naked sports bike design. Both the bikes feature the Connect X technology and gets SMS and email call alerts on the instrument panel, a battery level indication for the phone. Other features of the Connect X include tracking of fuel usage, maintenance advice, last parking location, malfunction warning, revs dashboard, and ranking among other riders.

Yamaha MT 15 2.0
Yamaha Motorcycle Connect X Technology

In India, the Yamaha MT 15 2.0 is a naked sports bike. It gets the same 149cc engine as the FZ X. The engine generates a maximum torque of 13.3 Nm and 12.2 bhp of power. It receives a digital instrument console equipped with the Connect X and Yamaha Y-Connect apps. Price ranges from Rs. 1.63 lakh to Rs. 1.64 lakh (ex-showroom) for the MT 15.
