Bajaj Platina 110 Detailed Review
Platina is one of the simplest looking motorcycles design-wise. Launched back in April 2006, there is very little that has changed looks-wise in the Platina. The wide single-seat, iconic halogen headlight, the oval tail light, and the round analogue speedometer are still the same even today. Platina 110 uses new body graphics to make it desirable among the segment rich with well-equipped rivals. Overall, it is a commuter bike that packs in a well-laid design to appeal to the masses and offer great reliability too.
Summary
The overall design of Platina is minimal and very simplistic.
Platina 110 body specifications:
| Ground Clearance | 200 mm |

The overall size and dimensions of Platina 110 are very adequate. The nimble size is made up of 2-mt of length and it provides a good 200mm of ground clearance. The 119 kg kerb weight makes the Platina a very nimble and easy-to-ride motorcycle. Platina 110 is one of the lightest in the segment and fuel-efficient. It measures 2,006 mm in length, 741 mm in width and gets a height of 1,100 mm.
Summary
The overall dimensions of Platina 110 are nimble and it is easy to ride.
Platina 110 body specifications:
| Ground Clearance | 200 mm |

Bajaj Platina 110 is equipped with a 115.45cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which makes a peak power of 8.5 hp and a peak torque of 9.81 mm. On paper these figures might seem less, but, the lightweight of Platina 110 makes it a good city performer. The abuse-friendly nature of the engine helps retrieve a long-lasting performance from the engine without much mechanical work needed. The best part about the Platina 110 is the real-world fuel economy.
Summary
The Platina 110 offers adequate performance for city riding & is very fuel-efficient as well.
Platina 110 engine specifications:
| Transmission | Manual |
| Mileage | 70-80 |
| Engine | 115.06 cc |
The Bajaj Platina 110 is offered with a set of 80/100-R17 tyres on both ends. These tyres provide a good combination of ride, handling, and fuel economy inside the city as well as on short highway rides on the outskirts of the city. Platina is equipped with a drum brake setup at both tyres which is connected via a CBS (Combine Braking System). The braking is adequate for city riding conditions. In terms of features, Platina 110 is not very well equipped and it's one of the weakest areas for the Bajaj’s commuter motorcycle. The rivals offer much more for a lot less.
Summary
The Platina 110 offers good braking, the right tyre size, and slim to none features.
