MG Comet EV

Last updated on 12th March'24 : MG Motor India has launched a long-awaited update for the Comet EV, introducing fast charging support with two new variants: Excite FC and Exclusive FC. A new variant naming scheme has also been revealed.

Comet EV Price : MG Comet EV prices ranges from Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 9.98 lakh (ex-showroom)

Variant: The MG Comet is available in 3 different variants: Pace, Play, and Plush.

Features: Thе battеry can bе chargеd up to 80% in just 50 minutеs using a fast chargеr. Thе car also fеaturеs i-Smart tеchnology, an intеlligеnt systеm offеring ovеr 55 connеctеd car fеaturеs. Thеsе fеaturеs includе voicе commands,OTA updatеs, rеmotе еnginе start, gеo-fеncing, and morе. Thе car has a slееk dеsign and a spacious cabin accommodating up to four pеoplе. Thе car has a turning radius of 4. 2 mеtеrs, which makеs it еasy to manеuvеr in tight spacеs. Thе car has thrее variants:Pacе,Play, and Plush. Each variant has diffеrеnt fеaturеs and spеcifications to suit diffеrеnt nееds and prеfеrеncеs.

Exterior: The MG Comet EV boasts a striking exterior design that blends modern aesthetics with functionality. Its front fascia is adorned with sleek Modern Parallel Steps LED Headlamps that provide superior visibility. The rear features matching Modern Parallel Steps LED Taillamps, giving the vehicle a cohesive look. The MG logo is illuminated, adding a touch of sophistication. Extended Horizon Front and rear Connecting Lights enhance the car's dynamic appeal. It rides on R12 Steel Wheels with Wheel Covers, providing both style and durability. LED Turn Indicators are seamlessly integrated into the Outside Rear-View Mirrors (ORVMs), while the Outside Door Handles sport chrome accents for a touch of luxury. The Aero Wiper completes the exterior package, emphasizing both style and functionality.

Engine performance: MG Comet is offered with 17.3kWh battery packs. The Comet can drive up to 230 kilometers on a single charge. This motor's maximum torque output is 110 Nm. It does not allow fast charging, however, with the charger, it can be fully charged in 7 hours.

Mileage : The MG Comet EV claims a mileage range of 230 Km per charge.

Dimension: The EV boasts the following dimensions: a length of 2974 mm, a width of 1505 mm, a height of 1640 mm, and a wheelbase of 2010 mm. Additionally, the EV features a turning radius of 4.2 meters.

Safety: The MG Comet EV exquisitely justifies its catchphrase of ‘No Worries,’ with the best safety features. The car is equipped with 17 hot stamping panels resulting in a high-strength vehicle body, ABS with EBD, a tire pressure monitoring system, reverse parking and camera sensors, dual front airbags, front and rear 3-point seat belts, ISOFIX (International Standard Organization Fix) child seat anchors, manual day/night IRVM, speed sensing and impact sensing auto door lock. 

Colours: The MG Comet EV presents customers with four captivating color choices. These include Flex (red), Sundowner (orange), Serenity (green), and Beach Bay (blue). To enhance the style of your Comet EV, MG offers Sticker styles and Lit packs, as showcased in their official brochure.

Ground clearance: MG Comet boasts a ground clearance of 165mm.
