MG Delivers 100+ EVs

Recently, JSW MG Motor India completed deliveries for all three models in its EV lineup, though it hasn't revealed the specific numbers for each model. MG Motor's EV lineup begins with the Comet EV, while the ZS EV stands as the flagship electric vehicle for the brand in India.

The Comet EV comes with a starting price of Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a 17.3 kWh battery pack which gives it a claimed range of 230 km. It gets rear axle mounted motor producing 42 PS of power and 110 Nm of peak torque. The Comet is one of the smallest EV available in the Indian market. It comes with a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment and instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected LED DRL and taillamp among other features. The MG Comet EV is available with BaaS, the pricing with BaaS starts at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) + battery rental of Rs 2.5 per km.

The second EV in MG's lineup is the newly launched Windsor EV which comes with a starting price of Rs 13.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The brand has launched the Windsor with a 38 kWh battery pack offering a claimed range of 331 km. This comes with a front axle mounted motor producing 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of peak torque. The Windsor boasts one of the biggest touchscreen infotainment system with a 15.6-inch screen. Moreover, it gets wireless connectivity, 135-degree Aerolounge seats, 9-speaker system among other features.

The top-of-the-line electric vehicle by the brand is the ZS EV. The MG ZS EV comes with a 50.3 kWh battery pack which offers a claimed range of 461 km. The ZS EV comes with max power of 176 PS and a torque output of 280 Nm. It gets enhanced safety features with level 2 ADAS, 6 airbags among other safety features. Moreover, the ZS EV gets panoramic sunroof, JBL audio system, 360-degree camera, powered seats, JBL audio system among other features. The ZS EV is priced at Rs 18.98 lakh to Rs 25.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
