Design: The Jaecoo J7 features a bold and upright design with a boxy silhouette that gives it a strong road presence. Its straight-line styling, wide stance, and rugged proportions make it look premium and SUV-like. Elements like aero-insert alloy wheels and a clean, modern front fascia further enhance its visual appeal. Overall, it carries a mix of urban sophistication and off-road-inspired character. 

Features: Inside, the J7 PHEV offers a modern and tech-focused cabin with a minimalist layout and large touchscreen interface. It is expected to come with features like a digital driver display, wireless charging, connected tech, and Level-2 ADAS. Safety is also a strong point, with multiple airbags, 360-degree camera, and advanced driver assistance systems. The overall feature set feels premium and future-ready. 

Powertrain: The J7 PHEV is powered by a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with an electric motor, producing around 330+ hp and over 500 Nm of torque. It uses a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT) and a front-wheel-drive setup. The 18.3 kWh battery delivers over 100 km of pure electric range, while the combined range can go up to 1,200 km. This setup balances performance with strong efficiency.

Expected Price: If launched in India, the Jaecoo J7 PHEV is expected to be priced between Rs 25 lakh and Rs 26 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price point, it will position itself as a unique plug-in hybrid offering in the mid-size SUV segment. It could rival the Mahindra XEV 9e, Tata Harrier EV, and BYD Atto 3, while still standing out as a one-of-a-kind product in the market.
