Last Updated on 24th Mar'25: Kia Seltos recently had its variants rejigged, where this car got a new base variant - HTE (O), and the existing variants received additions of features. The HTK (O), the third from the line, made a lot of noise as it offers several of the most demanding features at the most affordable price. 

The Kia Seltos was the first car Kia launched in India back in 2019, and it is still going strong, even with the same body style. Recently, a new Gravity Edition variant and a new Aurora Black Pearl paint option were introduced for the Seltos for the festive season. Its sales record shows positive trends following the inclusion of the Gravity Edition.

What we admire in this car

It offers an appealing design with aggressive front profile and offers segment best dimensions with enough legroom at the rear

One of the most feature rich SUV in the segment with some segment first features such as dual-zone climate control, BOSE sound system, electrically-adjustable driver seat, dual 10.25-inch screens, and more

Dual-pane panoramic sunroof is available from HTK+ variant

It is available with three engine options a NA petrol, a turbocharged petrol and a diesel

The interior quality, fit and finish of material makes the cabin more premium

Good number of available interior colour options

The suspension with 17-inch tyres is soft but not bouncy

Fun to drive turbo petrol engine with 160PS of power

The DCT and CVT gearbox options are smooth and easy to drive

Loaded with good number of safety features such as ADAS Level 2, 6-airbags, TPMS and more

What could have been better

The base variants misses on features such as LED DRL, telescopic steering, keyless entry and some more

The higher variants with 10.25-inch touchscreen misses on wireless connectivity

The variants with 18-inch tyres have a stiffer suspension as compared to the one with 17-inch wheels

Happy Owner

This is a very nice car, and I am extremely satisfied and happy with it. It looks great, and in my opinion, Kia is one of the best car brands. The BYD also has a fresh and appealing design, making it stand out as a modern choice.

All-Rounder

The car offers excellent performance and is truly value for money. Its looks are appealing, and the boot space is spacious and practical. Mileage is also impressive, delivering around 18 km per litre. The ground clearance is good, making it suitable for all kinds of roads, and the full sunroof adds a premium touch. Overall, it has been a very good and satisfying ownership experience.

I choose the best car. The quality is good and the experience is very good. Kia Seltos is my favorite car. I wish to use it and drive the Seltos at least once.

Feature-Rich SUV Experience
