The six speed manual has short gear throws but it needs a little effort and the clutch travel is quite long with a late bite point. You will notice a slight lag below 2000 rpm, so the car may feel a bit slow when you first move in slow traffic. But once the turbo starts working, it pulls smoothly and feels energetic enough for quick gaps and merging into traffic. In the city, the light and accurate steering makes it easy to hand
