Should I buy the Harrier?
Absolutely - if your priorities are safety, space, design, and diesel torque. The Harrier outshines many rivals in terms of build quality and road presence, while offering a cabin that feels both premium and practical. Buy lower/mid trims if you want the mechanical strengths without overspending. Go for the Adventure X+ or Fearless trims if you want ADAS, quad disc brakes, and near-top-end comfort. If you can live without a petrol or hybrid option, the Harrier is one of the best-rounded SUVs in its price range and is now better value than before.
- The Harrier continues to stand out as one of the most visually commanding SUVs in its class, thanks to its split headlamp setup, sharp LED DRLs, and a wide, confident stance that exudes strength.
- Its bold proportions are enhanced by strong shoulder lines, a floating roof effect, and flared rear haunches, giving it a distinctive, almost concept-car-like profile on the road.
- Alloy wheel options vary from 17-inch to stylish 19-inch units with the Dark and Stealth editions further boosting its aggressive personality with blacked-out elements.
- The newly introduced Seaweed Green shade for 2025 adds a breath of fresh air to the palette, while the Adventure trim’s dual-tone cabin themes bring a more premium, outdoorsy vibe inside.
Tata’s attention to exterior detailing - from brushed metal accents to intricate tail-lamp signatures - ensures the Harrier turns heads whether parked or in motion.

- Steering is on the heavier side at parking speeds, which may feel cumbersome in tight spots, but it offers excellent feedback and stability at higher speeds for confident highway runs.
- The combination of a stable chassis, well-damped suspension, and refined power delivery makes the Harrier equally comfortable on urban roads, winding hill routes, and broken rural stretches.
