This Japanese compact SUV is responsible for keeping Honda’s reputation strong in current times by offering class-leading boot space, ground clearance, and a macho exterior design. The Elevate is one of the most promising cars you can buy today. Based on the Honda City’s platform, the Elevate is a fantastic SUV powered by the same 1.5 L 4-cylinder i-VTEC engine that roars like an animal. Last Updated on 3rd Nov'25: Honda Elevate ADV Edition has been launched at Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the exterior and interior feature generous use of orange accents to enhance its ADV character, and with the addition of terrain decals, it looks even more striking. Based on the top-spec ZX variant, this is the second special edition introduced after the Black Edition.
That's right! Honda has recently expanded the Elevate SUV lineup with the introduction of two new Black Editions: the Black Edition and the Signature Black Edition. Both variants feature unique design enhancements and are distinguished by their Crystal Black Pearl exterior paint.

Should I buy the Elevate?
Honda Elevate is a great product with good comfort, a refined engine, and exceptional safety features on offer. It is a good family car for your weekday commutes. The large boot is enough for your weekend getaways. The Elevate stands out with its premium interiors. Rear seats offer ample space, packed with good features. It's a compelling choice for many buyers. If you're not sold on the Elevate yet, consider competitors like Kia Seltos or Hyundai Creta.
- The design language of the Honda Elevate is simple with a clean layout. The grill is big and the all-LED headlights provide excellent throw at night. The chrome strip connecting the headlights provides an aesthetically pleasing design. The design is simply finished with a silver skid plate at the bottom part.
- Coming to the side, it has 17” diamond-cut alloy wheels that provide one of the largest ground clearance in the segment. The chrome door handles and the roof rails give it a premium appearance. The dual-tone paint scheme enhances the aesthetics. The left ORVM has a camera placed.
- At the rear, the simplicity of the design is continued. The LED taillamps are simple in design and get a connected sort of treatment. The rear has a clean look with minimal use of chrome on offer. Coming to the boot space on offer is one of the biggest in the segment. It has a 438 L of boot space on offer that accommodates your weekend luggage very easily.

- As we step inside the cabin of Elevate, there is a warm welcome by the premium interiors and great cabin space. The Tan leather upholstery provides a premium appeal. All the touchpoints are made of soft-touch materials and these enhance the cabin ambiance to a step ahead.
- The tan-black and brown treatment on the dashboard gives a sophisticated appeal. The layout of the dashboard is clean and simple to use for new-age customers. The 10.25” touchscreen infotainment provides wireless connectivity for Android Auto and Apple Carplay. It offers some cool features like wireless charging, electronically adjusted front seats, etc.
- There is ample storage space for your cups and bottles. The steering wheel is the same as the Honda City along with the similar instrument cluster on offer. It gets a radar camera for the ADAS to scan the traffic and its functionalities.
- The Honda Elevate comes equipped with the same engine as the City with the same tuning and efficiency. Though it is an SUV so there’s a slight difference in terms of performance and weight of the vehicle.
- It is the same 1.5L VTEC engine that produces 121 BHP and 145 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-step CVT gearbox which is ultra-smooth in shifts.
- The engine refinement is top level and if it had got the Hybrid tech from the CITY E: HEV then it would be the icing on the cake.
- Talking about fuel efficiency, it will get about 15-17 km/L in the city. On highways, it will get 20+ km/L. The exact number will depend on driving style.
- The ride quality of the Honda Elevate is ultra smooth and comfortable. The seats offer superior comfort with leatherette upholstery and an ample amount of space is on offer.
- Considering the rear seat space, it has ample amount of knee room, leg room, and great headroom on offer. The cabin is wide enough to accommodate 3 passengers at the rear very comfortably. The rear passengers are pampered by rear AC vents and charging sockets.
- The suspension setup of the Honda Elevate is on the softer side. It provides plush ride quality and absorbs bumps and potholes very smoothly. On triple-digit speeds as well, the ride is plush and compliant on the road.
- The steering wheel provides a good feel and feedback to the driver. In the city, it is very lightweight but on highways and at high speeds, it maintains its line and composure.
