Honda Elevate

Honda Elevate, the mid-size SUV, is soon expected to get a new edition. Honda has posted two teasers on Instagram, and while they dont reveal much, they hint at something exciting on the way. Most likely, the new edition will feature a fresh colour option, minor updates to the grille design, and a new upholstery theme. The Elevate is already available in Apex and Black Editions, and this upcoming version could be called the Adventure Edition. Based on the Honda City platform, it is powered by a 1.5L i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that produces 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-step CVT.

The Honda Elevate stands out in its segment with several key USPs: the highest ground clearance at 220 mm, Hondas bulletproof reliability, best-in-class braking performance, and an impressive fuel efficiency of over 16 kmpl with the CVT gearbox. However, it isn't as popular as rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara. The main reasons are the absence of a panoramic sunroof, limited engine options, and the lack of several popular features.
The Elevate is priced from Rs 10.99 lakh to Rs 16.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Now let's see when Honda will launch this upcoming edition, and what new could it have over the regular Elevate.

Verdict
The Honda Elevate delivers on core SUV traits with its segment-leading ground clearance, excellent reliability, strong braking performance, and efficient powertrain. It's a practical and dependable choice, especially for those who value durability and everyday usability. However, it misses out on the premium appeal offered by rivals due to the lack of features like a panoramic sunroof, multiple engine options, and other modern conveniences. Overall, it's a solid, no-nonsense SUV but not the most feature-loaded or flashy option in its segment.
