While the sales numbers for Compass remain conservative, it is now gearing up for a new-gen facelift soon, but it might not be landing here in India, at least for the time being.
The Jeep Compass, the entry-level SUV from Jeep, was launched in India in 2017. Since then, the Compass has established itself as a competent off-road vehicle that is also spacious and suitable for city driving. It starts at Rs 18.99 lakh, with the top-spec model priced at Rs 25.18 lakh. It is powered by the same 2.0L diesel engine that is also used in Tata and MG cars. The Compass is offered with a 4X4 drivetrain setup and a 9-speed automatic transmission.
