2020 Hero HF Deluxe BS6 New Variants Launched; Bajaj CT 100 & Platina Rival Gets Cheaper

Hero MotoCorp is a well-known name not just in the Indian market but all across the globe. India is one of the largest two-wheeler markets in the world. And, this Indian two-wheeler manufacturer is acclaimed all-over as the world's largest two-wheeler manufacturer and Hero enjoys a respectable market share of over 46 per cent in its home country too. Hero MotoCorp is known for making no-nonsense commuters and the bikemaker has launched the new variants of the 2020 Hero HF Deluxe BS6 which makes it now more affordable than before. Prices now start at Rs. 46,800, Ex-showroom Delhi.

It's 2020 now and so the prices of all the motorcycles have been hiked by a huge margin owing to the transition to BS6 emission norms. We are now left with just a handful of commuters below the 50,000 rupees price mark. The first time commuter buyers generally prefer a cheap mobility solution and so Hero has come up with new variants of its most affordable commuter motorcycle. The new variants of the 2020 Hero HF Deluxe BS6 have been launched in India and it undercuts the pricing of its rivals.

Hero HF Deluxe BS6 was earlier only available with self+kick start variants but now Hero has introduced the kick-start-only variants and it is available with both spoke as well as alloy wheels. Other than the removal of the electric start button there has been no changes in the bike and it is completely identical as before. Powering this commuter is a BS6-compliant 97.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that churns out 8 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 8.05 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM, mated to a 4-speed manual gearbox.

The HF Deluxe BS6 also gets Heros patented i3S (idle stop/start) system & X-Sens fuel-injection technology and it delivers a great mileage of around 65-70 kmpl. The new Kick Start Drum Brake Spoke Wheel FI variant is priced at Rs. 46,800 and the Kick Start Drum Brake Alloy Wheel FI variant is priced at Rs. 47,800. The prices of the electric start variants range between Rs. 56,675 - Rs. 58,000. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi and it rivals the likes of Bajaj CT 100, Bajaj Platina 100, Hero Splendor Plus, etc.
