2022 Triumph Tiger 850 Sport adventure tourer motorcycle has been updated with new colours. The upcoming bike is slated for a late 2022 India launch.
Triumph has announced that it'll launch the new Tiger 900 adventure motorcycle range in India on June 24. While the gist of the launch awaits, the company has internationally updated the 2022 Triumph Tiger 850 Sport adventure bike. The India-bound motorcycle has undergone a revision of the paint scheme. The rest of the motorcycle remains the same.

The official updates have brought the same colour codes that the recently revised siblings have received. Triumph recently updated the Tiger 1200 & Rocket 3 motorcycle globally with the same colour schemes. The new colour schemes are going to support the 2022 theme for the British manufacturer. The new colours include - Graphite Baja Orange, Graphite Caspian Blue, & Graphite Diablo Red.
With the minimalistic body panels, the 850 Tiger Sport now looks more appealing than ever. Apart from the visual changes, mechanically the motorcycle remains the same. It keeps on using the reliable & proven 888cc, the inline-three-cylinder engine that produces a peak power of 84 hp & 82 Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle comes mated with a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper-assist clutch function as well.

Feature-wise, Triumph has also enriched the 850 with the likes of cornering ABS, two riding modes - road & rain, a 5-inch colour TFT infotainment screen, full-LED lighting, & even a switchable traction control system. Triumph aims to launch the middle-weight sports cum adventure tourer in India by the year-end.
The previous-gen bike was priced at Rs 11.95 lakhs ex-showroom. We expect the new bike will be priced a notch above because of the added features, new visuals, and the increased input costs of construction as well. The rivals will remain the likes of the already established BMW 850 GS & Ducati Multistrada V2.
