BMW 5 Series Carbon Edition Launched In India - Priced @ Rs 66.30 Lakh

The much-awaited BMW 5 Series Carbon Edition has finally been launched in the country and can now be booked through shop.bmw.in. Regarded as one of the best looking and one of the most successful premium executive sedans in India, the BMW 5 Series has always offered strong performance and an extremely comfortable cabin. With the BMW 5 Series Carbon Edition price starting from INR 66.30 lakh (ex-showroom), the company is now offering a sporty and appealing car for those who were wanting something that looks special and exclusive. Having said this, here are all the details that you should check out.

For starters, the new 5 Series Carbon Black gets a tweaked exterior design. To start with, it gets a dark black carbon fibre finish on the front kidney grille, front attachment and splitters while the exterior mirror caps too get a carbon fibre finish to complement the changes at the front. In addition to this, the car gets jet black alloys to gel in well with the overall black theme. These changes not only look very appealing but also give the car a strong and sporty character. Move to the rear and you will notice a black carbon fibre finished spoiler. This model is only available exclusively in the Alpine White paintwork. The white-black combination not only looks sporty but also boasts an understated elegance.

Inside, the car features perforated Sensatec trim in Cognac-Black colour combination and contrast stitching thus making the cabin feel premium and luxurious. Likewise, the features list too is as extensive and the car continues to feature many of the advanced features like multiple driver assistance systems that include remote control parking, reversing assistant, parking assistant, BMW virtual assistant, BMW gesture Control and a 360-degree surround-view camera. The 5 Series Carbon Edition will be powered by a 2.0-L turbocharged petrol engine that boasts a peak power and torque output of 252hp and 350Nm respectively. This engine comes mated to a quick-shifting eight-speed gearbox that helps the car complete a 0-100 kmph run in just 6.1 seconds!. The car also gets adaptive suspension with independent damping and customisable damper response settings. The damper response settings vary as per the selectable Driving Experience Control switch. This allows the driver to choose between different modes that include - Sport, Sport+, Comfort, ECO PRO, and Adaptive.
