Hero Motocorp Motorcycles And Scooters To Get Dearer From July

Hero Motocorp is one of the largest two-wheeler makers around the world. In India, the brand sells the majority of motorbikes and has high consumer traffic. The brand is now set to raise the price of its portfolio beginning in July. Different OEMs are raising the price of their product line in response to growing component costs and cost inflation which is affecting the production cost of the vehicles. The exact increase depends on the model and the market, but Hero has announced a raise of up to Rs 3,000 on its portfolio. The revised prices will take effect on July 1st and will apply to the ex-showroom price of the vehicle.

Earlier in January and March the brand has increased the price of its lineup by up to Rs 2,000 which came in effect from 5 April 2022. Now this price hike has came just after two months of the previous price hike.

Hero Pleasure Plus

Splendor Plus, Super Splendor, HF 100, HF Deluxe, Passion Pro, Glamour, Xtreme 160, Xtreme 200, and Xpulse 200 are among the motorcycle models offered by Hero Motocorp. Hero, however, also offers four scooter models: the Pleasure Plus, Maestro, Maestro Edge, and Destini 125.

In India, two-wheelers sell more than any other type of vehicle, and they are one of the most popular ways to travel. Domestic two-wheeler sales crossed the 12 lakh units in May 2022. In contrast, car sales last month fell just short of the 3 lakh unit mark. Price hikes have also been imposed by other two-wheeler manufacturers, including Yamaha, TVS, KTM, Aprilia, Vespa, and others.
