Hero Launches the Splendor+ with Black and Accent Colour Options

Hero MotoCorp launches new colour schemes for the most popular bike in India - Hero Splendor+. Hero MotoCorp hosted a graphic contest called "Hero CoLabs" and received over thousands of entries. The finalised 3 colour schemes can be accessorised by the customer at the time of purchase. Hero has priced the Splendor+ Black and Accent at Rs 64,470 ex-showroom.

Hero Splendor+ is India's most selling and most popular motorcycle known for its refined and robust engine. Hero adds another tip on the hat of Splendor+ with three unique colour options. As part of the contest, participants from across the country created graphic design themes for the Splendor+ motorcycle. Out of the thousands of entries, the top 3 designs have been put into production.

The bike has also got some changes with respect to the black accents like black chain cover, blacked-out wheels and black engine. Other than that, the bike is exactly the same as before with no mechanical changes. These three designs are now available to customers to choose from and have one of them installed on their new motorcycle. Customers can choose to purchase the motorcycle without any graphics as well.

On the occasion of the launch, Malo Le Masson, Head of Strategy, Hero MotoCorp said, "This is an excellent example of Hero MotoCorps new Vision and Mission of moving ahead with a collaborative approach and achieving synergy between the digital and physical world. Within five months, we have put the winning designs, from the contest, into production and made them available to our customers. We will continue to bring more such creative initiatives in the future."

Hero is also offering the 3D Hero Logo as an optional accessory to the customers. The Black and Accent model of the Hero Splendor+ is priced at Rs 64,470 and the graphic design would cost extra. If the customer wants to get one of the three graphic designs, it can be had by paying Rs 899 extra. The customer can also avoid opting for the graphics and get the bike without that also. Hero calls the three theme designs Beetle Red, Firefly Golden and Bumble Bee Yellow. Moreover, Hero also offers the complete kit including graphics, 3D Hero logo and rim tapings for Rs 1,399.
