The Hero Vida Ubex is likely going to be the first electric motorcycle from the Indian two-wheeler maker. The electric motorcycle was teased and its silhouette was shown in a now-deleted post on Vida's social handles. This will likely be joined by some other new products, the details of which remain under wraps for now.

Hero Vida Ubex Concept To Be Shown At EICMA 2025; Details
From the now-deleted teaser, the silhouette of the Vida Ubex concept was shown, which reveals certain details. The silhouette of the motorcycle bears a lot of familiarity with the Xtreme 250R, and upon closer inspection, the electric motorcycle will also be hanging off of USD forks and a monoshock.
There will also be disc brakes on both ends, along with alloy wheels, and much like the Xtreme 250R, the Vida Ubex concept also gets a tyre-hugger section for the rear license plate holder. Not much is known about any performance or range figures either, but the electric powertrain is going to be a mid-mount unit, with a chain-driven system.
It is known that Hero MotoCorp partnered with Zero Motorcycles in 2023 to create a range of electric motorcycles, which are set to be revealed in 2026. However, whether or not Hero will be showcase or even simply tease those motorcycles remains unknown for now. The capacity of this particular Vida Ubex concept also remains unknown, but it is possibly going to be focused on city-commuting.
Verdict
We may finally be getting to see what Hero's first electric motorcycle may look like. However, do remember that this will more than likely be a concept, and its production version will be a few years away from an India-debut.
