Design

Alongside, the teaser on social media and various sites has revealed a few key details about the design. Going by the teaser, we can make out that the overall styling remains similar to the Vida Z. The front fascia features a boxy LED headlamp along with integrated DRL, giving it more youthful appeal. Coming to the side, the panels look very minimalist, along with that flat single-piece seat. At the rear, it boasts a very compact LED taillight.
What All To Expect?

Under those panels, the Vida VX2 is expected to get multiple battery pack options: 2.2kWh to 3.4kWh units. It is expected to give out a claimed range of 100km within a single charge, depending on the battery pack. While the VX2 is expected to come up with a removable battery for added convenience.
However, being an affordable scooter, we can take some cost-cutting measures. This scooter might miss out on disc brakes. Moreover, it will get a normal TFT display that can be used with the toggle switch.
The Vida VX2 will be launched tomorrow. Moreover, it is expected to be priced around Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). While the brand has already revealed that this scooter will offer a battery-as-a-service (BaaS model), offer a subscription to the buyer instead of paying for the battery.

Verdict
The Hero Vida VX2 looks set to redefine affordable urban electric commuting. With its minimalist yet modern design, removable battery options, and clever cost-conscious features like drum brakes and a basic TFT display, the VX2 aims to strike the right balance between price and practicality. The addition of the Battery-as-a-Service model makes it even more appealing for budget-focused buyers. If Hero gets the pricing right, the VX2 could emerge as a strong rival to the Ola S1 Air and TVS iQube in the entry-level EV segment.
