Hero Xude Scooter Homologated - Is It a 125cc Xoom?

Hero MotoCorp has recently homologated a new scooter. Badged as Hero Xude scooter, the patent images of it have leaked online. It'll possibly be a bigger version of the current Xoom 110. Also, it might get a very aggressive & youthful design. Read all of the details known about it below.

Hero Xude Scooter - A New 125cc Model?

Not long ago, a mysterious scooter was spied on a test that looked like a bigger Xoom 110. Now, Hero has homologated a new name called Xude. In fact, the patent for it has also been filed and the image of the scooter has leaked online. As visible in the patent image, it'll be a big scooter with a possible 125cc engine capacity. Currently, Hero has Maestro Edge 125 & Destini 125 in this category. But, the Xoom 110 got a good response in the market. Therefore, Hero might be looking to add a new 125cc model soon.

A close look at the patent photo reveals that it'll get a very sharp & aggressive design. Probably to attract young buyers, the front design is full of aggressive elements. It gets a split LED DRL setup, sharp alloy wheel design, sharp front panel with LED light, a large flat footboard, & wide side panels. Perhaps, the rear-end design resembles the spied scooter with a fat outlook. It'll get split grab rails, an LED taillight, a wider rear tyre, & raised rear design. Powering this scooter would be the same 125cc engine as seen on the other models. This engine makes a peak power of 9hp & a peak torque of 10.5Nm. We suspect that Hero might re-tune it for an aggressive throttle response to make it more fun to ride.
