Last Updated on 15th Nov'24: Hero Moto Corp recently launched a new Pleasure Plus variant, the Pleasure Plus Xtec Sports. The scooter is available in five variants in India, starting at Rs. 70,838 and going up to Rs. 82,738 for the Xtec ZX connected trim. The Pleasure Plus comes equipped with a 110.9cc engine which is capable of making 8.1 bhp and 8.7 Nm. As for the features, it gets an LED projector headlamp, chrome garnish on the front fender and Bluetooth connectivity (top-end variant).
Hero introduces the latest addition to its lineup, the Pleasure Plus XTEC Sports variant, available at an attractive price of Rs. 79,738. Featuring the familiar 110.9 cc engine, this model stands out with its Bluetooth connectivity.

Hero Pleasure Plus carries forward the iconic scooter name Pleasure in the Indian two-wheeler market. The Pleasure Plus now features a new styling with retro-theme-inspired cues like the use of chrome and dual-tone contrasting colours of the seat and the footboard area. The Hero Pleasure Plus is designed more efficiently than its predecessors. The looks on the Hero Pleasure Plus are designed to be minimalistic but very efficient. The retro headlamp and classic DRL lamp are noteworthy design feature. The exterior of the scooter and the rearview mirrors have a chrome finish. The alloy wheels have a wheelbase of 1138mm. It comes with a phone charger at the front with pockets to hold essential items just below the handle. The handle frame has an analogue speedometer, again deciding to offer the user a retro feel. The boot space is large and even has a built-in LED. The platinum version of the Hero Pleasure Plus is a step higher with a dual-tone seat finish and chrome finished backrest.

The design has a lot of features but Hero makers could have done a bit of a better job to provide a trendy young generation style design of the scooter.

The Hero Pleasure Plus is a big-looking scooter dimension-wise. The overall size of the Pleasure Plus makes it stand apart from the rest of the segment rivals. The Hero Pleasure Plus has a fuel capacity of 4.8 L and dimensions of 1769 mm x 704 mm x 1161 mm, making it perfect for daily usage and the average driver. The Hero Pleasure Plus is designed for comfortable usage. The Hero Pleasure Plus has a ground clearance of 155 mm offering seating comfort to the riders and even the pillion riders. Even for short heightened users, the Hero Pleasure Plus will not feel like a rock while maneuvering and is surprisingly very light and easy to control. The tubeless tires are large enough to help in cornering while not being too chunky to make the scooter harder to control. They measure 90 mm and offer a good grip on the road while driving. Hero has been known for making one of the most fuel-efficient and tractable engines. The Hero Pleasure Plus scooter is no different than the rest of the Hero lineup. The Engine on the Hero Pleasure Plus has a displacement of 110 ccs but the acceleration on the Hero Pleasure Plus is very smooth and quick to respond. The air-cooled, 4-stroke single cylinder OHC engine also uses X sense technology by Hero to offer good mileage and superb control. The maximum power of the Hero Pleasure Plus is 8.1PS @ 7000rpm. The maximum torque of the scooter is 8.7 Nm @ 5500rpm. The Hero Pleasure Plus has 2 valves per cylinder. The automatic transmission is paired with a dry automatic centrifugal clutch and kick and self start. The transitioning is smooth and there are no jerks while picking up speed. For urban usage and traffic-jammed roads, the Hero Pleasure Plus is perfect as it is sleek and powerful to get through the tiny nooks and crannies. The Hero Pleasure Plus also comes with Hero’s patented i3s technology that keeps the engine healthy and allows for better mileage. The maintenance required on the Hero Pleasure Plus is very little even with continuous daily usage. Though the scooter is very light compared to a few competitors, carrying groceries on might not be ideal. The pickup is good but needs a bit of riding around to get the hang of it. The front disc brake measures 130 mm and offers a smooth experience while braking. The front and rear tubeless tyres measure 90/100-10. The front alloy wheel size is the same as the rear alloy wheel measurement i.e., 254 mm. The scooter is equipped with Mobile connectivity and Bluetooth connection. There is a charging point too. Other additional features include an analogue speedometer, an analogue odometer, a digital tripmeter, a digital fuel gauge, a digital console, and Call and SMS alerts. The Hero Pleasure Plus has a pass switch, carry hook, passenger footrest, metal front fender, and idle-stop-start system. For a scooter claiming to be safe for all sorts of riders, both front and rear should have had disc brakes. The Integrated Braking System ensures that you do not have to use the front brake as much as it engages the front brake a little every time you press the rear brake. The Hero Pleasure Plus is loaded with sensors like an oxygen sensor to ensure better fuel economy and greater mileage and also has an Air Inlet Temperature Sensor to ensure that the Hero Pleasure Plus can start quickly in all sorts of weather conditions. The Manifold Air Pressure sensor ensures that vertical uphill climbs are a lot smoother than other scooters in the segment. There is a side stand sensor and an angle bank sensor to add more safety to the rides with the Hero Pleasure Plus. The engine oil temperature sensor is fitted to add longevity to the engine life. Finally, to improve the performance, there is the crank position sensor for smooth rides and the throttle position sensor for improved torque on demand. The tyres and brake setup of the Pleasure Plus make it a very comfortable and safe scooter on the roads. The handling is confidence-inspiring and one can easily use the Hero Pleasure Plus all day long.

Hero Motocorp changed the prices of its product lineup. The Hero Pleasure Plus, one of Hero's most affordable offerings, is also affected by the price change. Depending on the version, the scooter received a hike of Rs 850 to Rs 1,450. There are no new features or mechanical enhancements as a result of the price increase.
