Honda e & QC1 Official Bookings Now Open

Prospective buyers can now reserve the Honda Activa e: and QC1 with a nominal booking fee of Rs. 1,000. Reservations for the Activa e: are being accepted at designated Honda dealerships within Bengaluru, Delhi, and Mumbai. The QC1, conversely, is available for booking across a broader network encompassing Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh. Deliveries for both models are slated to commence in February 2025, with pricing details anticipated to be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 later this month.

The Activa e: represents Honda's flagship electric scooter, distinguished by its understated yet easy flowing design. The top-tier variant boasts a rich feature set, including a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, incoming call notifications, turn-by-turn navigation, and more. Powering the Activa e: are dual 1.5kWh swappable batteries, providing a combined capacity of 3kWh and a claimed range of 102km on a single charge. These batteries are exclusively designed for use with Honda's battery-swapping infrastructure, which the company intends to deploy extensively across India in the near future. Notably, since this is the only way to juice up your Activa e: and not any other way around, only the cities with swapping infrastructure will get these scooters through their local dealerships. As for the QC1, there is no such restriction, and as a result, it will be a lot more accessible.

The QC1 serves as the more accessible offering. It utilizes a 1.5 kWh non-removable battery, offering a per-charge range of 80 kilometers. Taking the battery from 0 to 80% takes roughly 4.5 hours, while a complete charge requires approximately 6.5 hours. Features include a 5-inch LCD display, a convenient USB Type-C charging port, and a practical 26 liters of storage space beneath the seat.
