Honda Dio 125 X Edition

Honda has recently unveiled the Dio 125 X Edition, built on the fully loaded H-Smart variant, meaning it carries all the top features already offered on the standard model. The X-Edition does not change the mechanics and instead focuses on visual upgrades. This special version gets a fresh dual-tone theme that mixes a deep blue shade with contrasting grey highlights across parts like the apron, floorboard, side panels and grab rail. Bright red alloy wheels add a sporty touch, while new graphics enhance its youthful character. Since it is based on the H-Smart trim, it is expected to be priced close to that model, which currently sits around Rs 91,683 (ex-showroom).
Features And Specifications
When it comes to equipment, the Dio 125 X-Edition carries over everything from the H-Smart trim it is based on. That means buyers get a well-equipped scooter with features. Key highlights include alloy wheels, a front disc brake, and full LED lighting for a modern look and better visibility. It also comes with a colour TFT digital display that supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and other connected functions. A smart key with keyless start adds to everyday ease, while a USB Type-C charging port lets riders power their devices on the move.

Under the bodywork, Honda has retained the familiar 123.92 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This motor produces roughly 8.2 bhp and 10.5 Nm, paired with a CVT automatic gearbox for smooth city riding. Since the X-Edition has already revealed, its market launch is expected soon, likely within the next few weeks.

Verdict
The Dio 125 X-Edition is a style-focused update that makes an already feature-rich scooter feel fresher and more youthful. If you like the Dio 125 for its performance and tech but want something that stands out more on the road, this edition delivers exactly that. It doesn't change the formula, but it adds visual flair and premium features that young urban riders will appreciate. For buyers who value looks and connectivity as much as practicality, it's a solid pick from Honda.
