Jaguar Type 00 - the electric concept car, which marks the new life of Jaguar Company is coming to India and will be showcased at Jio Convention Center, Mumbai on June 14. This car is currently on a world tour - first unveiled in Miami, Florida on December 3rd, 2024 has travelled to Paris, and Monaco, and will tick off Munich and Tokyo before heading towards Mumbai.
A lot is riding on these 4 wheels, but it's never seen before grand touring EV design hasn't received positive feedback, but the brand is confident about its new beginnings. Jaguar Type 00
Just a few years back, the world was telling Jaguar that - "the future is coming, and you're not in it" so, they have thrown away all of their books and are writing a new one, and its electric. A complete revamp to provide an outclass products with an aim to bring back Jaguar glorious days. This also indicates in its name - Type 00 - which stands for zero emissions and starting from zero. That said, Jaguar had an all electric car in its fleet - I-Pace, which was on sale until July of last year. However, now this is an inception into new age.
As of now, there isn't any big news out related to its specifications apart from that it is built on a new EV Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA) - with a range of up to 770 km on the WLTP cycle and with fast charging, it will take just 15 minutes to go from 321 Km. Only this much info is out now, but let's talk about the elephant in the room - its unique new-age shape. This features a rather geometrically shaped design that you wouldn't believe could exist in real life. To be honest, this is hard to explain in words - as this design is straight-up inspired by high school kids' notebooks' last page.
Some details, we got to know from the offical site is that - it features - 23 Inch alloy wheels, glassless tailgate, full width tail-lights, butterfly doors, two seats, with a new two spoke Jaguar steering wheel. Drifting away from talking about its desing, let's wait for June 14th, where it will be showcased in India, and see how people will percieve it.

Verdict
It's too early to talk bad about this new radical design, as we haven't seen it in real life, and don't know even 10% about this new EV. However, one important thing worth sharing is that it will first launch in UK and USA first, in 2025 and then we can expect it to come in India by 2026, or 2027.
