Seiemmezzo Retro Street Details

Speaking of the entry variant, Retro Street is designed for city and highway riding. The naked sports design is neo-retro with a round LED headlight and sculpted fuel tank. The overall shape of it resembles the old-gen Moto Morini naked bikes. The short wheelbase is going to help with the tight city traffic maneuvering. Additionally, the kerb weight stands at 215 kg which is fairly light for the segment standards. Retro Street comes with alloy wheels fitted to it. It is available in three colour shades - Matte Grey, Metalized White, & Milano Red.

The features list is also at par with the segment rivals. A 5-inch TFT infotainment screen with multiple theme modes comes standard. Additionally, it has riding modes and Bluetooth connectivity as well. The crisp and clear screen provides every required data to the rider on the go. Meanwhile, the rider can also change the theme of the background of the screen.

It uses the same engine as seen on the X-Cape 650 ADV. However, it is tuned for city and highway riding, unlike its ADV counterpart. The 649cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine makes a peak power of 55 bhp and 54 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed transmission is fitted to it along with a slipper-assist clutch. Meanwhile, the front forks are USD with 120mm of travel & are height adjustable as well. The rear monoshock is also height adjustable.
Seiemmezzo Scrambler Details

The Scrambler is a bit different than Retro Street. It is designed to have fun on the trails as well as to handle the subtle off-road beating. That's why, its design features change as such the high-set front mudguard, dual-purpose tyres, & a different suspension tune. Additionally, it also gets a tiny windscreen and knuckle guards to make it look more rugged. It is also available in three colours - Indigo Blue, Matte Green, & Graphite Black.

The handlebar design on the Scrambler is different from Retro Street. This is to facilitate the riding dynamics of the bike for off-road. Hence, the rider can feel more comfortable behind the handlebar of it on soft trails. Additionally, it gets a tan colour leather seat as well as a USB phone charging port. These both are missed out on Retro Street. However, the Scrambler has priced at Rs 6.99 lakh which makes it Rs 10,000 costlier than its sibling. The engine and other mechanicals are the same on both bikes.
Verdict
The aggressive pricing and the tech-laden Moto Morini look well-prepared for the Indian market. However, it will be interesting to see it fighting with the likes of big Japanese makers like Kawasaki & Honda. Additionally, providing an appropriate number of showrooms and service centers is also going to be a big task for the company.
Its main rivals in India are the Honda CB 650R, Kawasaki Z650 & Triumph Trident 660.
