Ford India recently shocked the automotive industry by stopping its manufacturing in India for local sales with immediate effect. While the American carmakers have decided on such extreme measures here in India, it has teased the new Ford Ranger for the international markets.

The next-gen Ford Rangers teaser video showcases its true off-road capabilities. The updated model has been tested on various terrains and can be seen drifting in mud and slush, tackling grit in the desert, climbing rocky terrains, and sliding in the snow. The upcoming Ranger is designed and structured to fight all types of terrain and built on a pick-up truck-based platform, which can be handled with ease and can hit its rivals down.
Ford has camouflaged its upcoming Ranger in the entire video but some of the changes can still be spotted. The updated pick-up truck will have a new set of LED headlamps with LED DRLs installed by default. Ford has equipped the next-gen Ranger with stylish alloy wheels that suit its masculine character. Looking at the new Ranger fighting all terrains, it is sure that the new Ranger has all-weather tyres with reliable grip, ready for all roads or no roads.
Ford has shared some details of its new Ranger in a press release mentioning that the new Ranger has embracing off-road credentials and also comes equipped with Fords dynamic driving DNA, the toughest, most capable, and a connected pick-up truck that has been developed with the mindset of a customer. At its core, the next-generation Ranger is designed for the youth and will be the ideal pick-up partner for work, family, and adventure.

Not many details have been revealed so far but more updates are expected from Ford regarding the new Ford Ranger to be shared in the near future. Ford is also in a mood to officially reveal the updated model of its pick-up truck later this year. The next-generation Ranger will be launched by 2022 in the international markets.
Ford India will no longer manufacture its cars in India and will continue to sell only imported CBU models. There are fewer chances for the new Ford Ranger to be launched in India.
