Okinawa Okhi90 teased again on social media before Official Launch

The upcoming Okinawa Okhi90 electric 2W will be a bigger, faster, and much more advanced electric scooter in the brands line-up. Its camouflaged model has been spotted being tested on Indian roads several times before too, check out the images.

Okinawa Autotech has again teased the upcoming electric two-wheeler, the Okhi90, on their social media account. The short teaser video showcases the LED headlight and turns signals, with DRLs on the front apron of the scooter. The Okhi90 is scheduled for launch on March 24th, with a claimed per-charge range of over 150 kilometers. The specifications of the Okinawa Okhi90 are not available as of yet, aside from the fact that it will be powered by a lithium-ion battery.

Below here you can check out the spied images of the Okhi90, that we @91wheels have spotted. The overall design of the electric scooter will instantly remind you of the yesteryears, Kinetic K4. With larger wheels that give it the motorcycles stance, gives us an impression that it will be agile and fun to ride around cities.

Aside from those integrated LED indicators, headlight, and Day Time Running lights on the front cowl, there are traces of chrome as well. In our spied shot images, the handlebar seemed wide and ideally set up for short city commutes.

Other mechanical designs visible on the upcoming electric scooter were telescopic forks front suspension, alongside dual-gas shock absorbers for the rear. The footboard seemed small, which seems to be the compromise to achieve the desired form over functionality.

 The upcoming Okhi90 is expected to feature swappable battery technology, alongside Bluetooth connectivity features and in-built GPS technology. We are expecting the Okinawa Okhi90 to cost between Rs. 1.00 lakh to Rs. 1.20 lakh.
