With the introduction of Move OS4, Ola has rolled out some impressive upgrades to its S1 electric scooter range. One notable change is the shift from Map My India to Ola Maps, an in-house developed navigation feature. This new system promises faster rerouting and more accurate location guidance, providing users with detailed turn-by-turn instructions and real-time updates on their journey.
In addition to the navigation enhancements, Ola has introduced Geofencing and Timefencing features. These allow users to set specific boundaries and timeframes for scooter usage, offering more control over the scooter's operation. The user interface has also undergone a revamp, offering ride statistics, call settings, favourites-only calling, and a 'Moods' feature.
The technical improvements are quite impressive too, with a faster hypercharger, more accurate charging time predictions, and enhanced regenerative braking. New features like Hill Hold Descent Control, cruise control in Eco mode, and an updated tripmeter add to the overall riding experience.
