The Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect Edition has just been give an update, which does not see any mechanical changes. However, there is a new feature addition, along with something new in terms of the visuals. Of course, this has also come with a price hike over the current Ride Connect Edition scooter.

Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect TFT Edition Details

The Access 125 Ride Connect TFT Edition, as the name suggests, now comes with a new 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster, which offers better visibility, brighter visuals and more colours. Along with that, it retains features such as bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and it also adds on weather updates.

Visually, the Access 125 retains its refreshed design, but there is now a new Pearl Matte Aqua Silver paint scheme, thus taking up the total options to five. Underneath it retains the same mechanicals; the same 125cc engine, producing 8.3bhp and 10.2Nm of torque, but it gets internal changes as part of the OBD-2B compliance upgrades.

The Access 125 Ride Connect TFT Edition comes in at Rs 1.01 lakh (ex-showroom), which is close to Rs 5,000 more than the current Ride Connect Edition of the scooter. In terms of competition, there is the Honda Activa 125 and the TVS Jupiter 125.

Verdict

Suzuki has followed Honda's footsteps and given its bestseller a newer, more sophisticated TFT screen setup which should improve its appeal to some extent. The engine also receives important changes to run cleaner and it overall remains a scooter you can't go wrong with.
