The Suzuki Burgman is set to receive a major update, with its launch scheduled for tomorrow, April 2, 2026. Suzuki 2 Wheelers has released another teaser today, offering a glimpse of its LED headlamps and a new paint scheme that appears to be a metallic copper shade. The teaser showcases a clear view of the new LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, giving it a classy look. Apart from this, there's no clear view of the scooter, and it is still kept under wraps as to which engine it will carry. As per several media outlets and auto experts, there's a high chance that it will get a bigger 155cc engine from the Gixxer, producing 13.6 PS and 13.8 Nm of torque. However, if it comes here, Suzuki is likely to tune it for a more relaxed power output.

If not a bigger engine, it will continue with its 125cc unit that produces 8.7 PS and 10 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission. The new model is expected to bring feature upgrades like a TFT display, keyless system, and ABS, similar to the new Access. Let's see tomorrow, what else Suzuki has to offer.
Verdict
Overall, the updated Burgman Street looks like a solid step forward, especially with its expected feature upgrades and refreshed styling. While the lack of a bigger engine might disappoint enthusiasts, the tried-and-tested 125cc unit should continue to offer reliable and efficient performance. If Suzuki gets the pricing right, it will further strengthen its hold in the maxi-scooter segment. It makes the most sense for buyers prioritising comfort, features, and everyday practicality.
