KTM's fully-faired lineup is gearing up for a significant transformation, with Bajaj Auto confirming that the next big update for the RC series is scheduled towards the end of 2027. New RC Models
The upcoming RC models are expected to adopt a sharper, more aggresive looks. Early design previews include new LED headlights and aerodynamic winglets, suggesting KTM is pushing further towards a track-focused identity. While the styling direction is finalized, the mechanical side of things is still being worked out.
KTM and Bajaj are currently developing a new parallel-twin engine platform under 500cc. This motor is likely to underpin future versions of the Duke, Adventure, and RC range, replacing the long-running 390cc setup. Prototype models featuring this engine - particularly in ADV form - have already been spotted during testing.

With GST revisions favoring sub-350cc motorcycles, Bajaj and its partner brands are also preparing a new range of smaller-capacity bikes. This will lead to two distinct platforms running simultaneously - a sub-350cc lineup and the existing 390cc range. To create a clear step-up in performance, KTM is expected to position the upcoming twin-cylinder models above the current 390s, bridging the gap to its larger motorcycles.
Although a near-production KTM RC based on the CFMoto 450 platform has been spotted overseas, it is unlikely to be introduced in India, with the next-gen model expected to follow a different development route.
