Production in Full Swing

Manufacturing for the e-Access is already underway at Suzuki's Gurugram plant, with the first production units beginning to leave the factory floor. The scooter will be made available across all 1,150+ Suzuki outlets nationwide, setting an aggressive retail strategy compared to competitors like Honda, which is rolling out its electric Activa in phases across select metro cities.

Powertrain

e-access

Powering the e-Access is a 3.07 kWh lithium ferro phosphate (LFP) battery paired with a 4.1 kW electric motor. It produces a peak torque of 15 Nm and a top speed of 71 kmph. The IDC-certified range stands at 95 km, though realistic numbers are expected to hover around 75-80 km based on riding conditions. Riders can toggle between three riding modes - Eco, Ride A, and Ride B - along with a reverse assist function for added ease in tight parking situations.

Suzuki e-Access: Daily Usability

Access

Despite its electric powertrain, Suzuki has prioritized practicality. The underseat storage is spacious enough to fit a half-face helmet and daily essentials, while the floorboard accommodates larger items like a laptop bag. Riders will also appreciate features like dual bag hooks and a USB charging port - small touches that add significant value in daily commutes.

Suzuki e-Access: Comfort and Ride Quality

The e-Access sports telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock for balanced urban riding comfort. Braking duties are managed by a front disc and rear drum setup, in line with what's commonly seen in the segment. Suzuki has also equipped the e-Access with a long, flat seat that easily accommodates two adults - a must for Indian commuting needs.

Suzuki e-Access: Charging Infrastructure

To complement the launch, Suzuki is stepping up its EV support ecosystem. By June 2025, all Suzuki dealerships will be equipped with standard EV charging setups. More importantly, fast chargers will be introduced across the top 30 citiesthat lead in EV sales by June 25, offering quicker turnaround times for busy urban users. These hubs will also be equipped with EV-specific tools and trained personnel for better aftersales support - setting a benchmark in consumer convenience.

Ownership Made Easy

Suzuki e-Access

Suzuki aims to make the e-Access an attractive proposition beyond just the ride. Buyers can look forward to value-added services like an extended warranty package and an assured buyback program, ensuring peace of mind over long-term usage and resale value.
