Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) plans to debut its first all-electric product around March 2024, starting with an electric version of the popular Activa scooter. The Activa EV will feature a fixed-battery setup, replacing the traditional engine, and achieve a maximum speed of 50kph. Following this, HMSI will introduce a second electric scooter with a swappable battery system and high performance. HMSI aims to cater to the growing demand for electric vehicles in India and has invested in localizing manufacturing for e-motors and batteries. The company also plans to set up battery-swapping stations across its 6,000 touchpoints in the country.

Gogoro 2 Series

The Gogoro 2 Series boasts a robust 7 kW motor with 26.6 Nm torque, rivaling renowned Indian e-scooter brands.
