The Ultraviolette F77, India's first high-performance electric motorbike, has been introduced. The starting ex-showroom cost of the F77 electric motorcycle is INR 3.80 lakh. The F77 was conceived, created, and manufactured in India from the ground up and is offered to customers in three distinctive and eye-catching forms: Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser. Each type has two variations: the F77 and the F77 Recon, with corresponding IDC Ranges of 206 km and 307 km.

Ultraviolette F77 Price & Variants

The recently released, performance-focused F77 is available in three distinct trims, which the brand refers to as personalities. The three trims are Airstrike, Shadow, and Laser, and each trim has a Recon & Standard variant. The bike's pricing ranges from Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Standard model to Rs. 4.55 lakh for the Recon model (ex-showroom). Also, a limited edition will only 77 of the F77 bikes will be produced, according to an announcement from Ultraviolette. The cost of this edition has not yet been made public.

Ultraviolette F77 Battery & Range

With the most cutting-edge battery pack in the industry, it offers an IDC Range of 307 km, the highest for any electric two-wheeler in India. The F77 Recon variants are powered by an integrated 10.3 kWh Lithium ion battery architecture, that generates a staggering 95 Nm of peak torque and 29 kW (38.9 HP) of peak power. On the other hand the Standard variant gets a 7.1 kWh battery pack and produces 27 kW (36 HP) of power and 85 Nm of peak torque. This variant gets a claimed range of 206 km.

The limited edition of the F77 comes with more power and torque. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds and has a highest speed of 152 km/h. It has a peak power output of 30.2 kW (40.5 HP) and a peak torque output of 100 Nm.

The battery can be charged using either a boost charger or a regular charger, the latter of which can charge the battery at a pace of up to 75 km/h. On both models, the boost charger is an optional extra.

The motorcycle has three riding modes, Glide, Combat, and Ballistic, along with a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster. Additionally, it has phone connectivity and connected capabilities that enable the owner to remotely check a variety of motorbike parameters. It has dual-channel ABS, 320 mm front and 240mm rear disc brakes, USD forks, and a swingarm that is influenced by superbikes in terms of its mechanical components.

Ultraviolette F77 - Deliveries, Warranty & Other Details

The F77's rollout in India will start in January 2023 from Bangalore, followed by a pan-India rollout and a company-owned maintenance ecosystem through 2023, even if an international expansion is planned. Bangalore will be the site of the first Ultraviolette Experience Center. The new, cutting-edge manufacturing plant owned by Ultraviolette, located close to Bangalore, has started production.

While the battery pack on the Recon comes standard with a 5 year or 50,000 km warranty, the one on the Standard model of the F77 is only covered for 3 years or 30,000 km. This is also covered by the Standard model's warranty. The battery in the Limited variant has an 8 year or 100,000 km warranty, and the warranty on the Recon can also be extended to this time frame.
