Yamaha has updated its 125cc hybrid scooter range in India, bringing a mix of cosmetic and feature upgrades to the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid and Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid. The highlight of the update is the introduction of a new TFT instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation on select variants, along with some fresh colour options and an upgraded hybrid assist system. Beside that mechanical package remains unchanged, this update aims at younger buyers who value connectivity and everyday practicality. Prices for the RayZR range now start at Rs 79,340 (ex-showroom).

The biggest highlight of this update is the addition of a colour TFT instrument console to the RayZR. The setup supports smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and also has Answer Back Functionality. The Fascino S meanwhile continues to come with a TFT display which was part of its last update, the 2026 update brings a new colour scheme and fresh styling to the Fascino S.

Alongside the new display, Yamaha has introduced its latest 'Enhanced Power Assist' system across the hybrid scooter range. Built around the company's existing Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology and hybrid setup, the updated system is designed to provide stronger acceleration during initial take-off, while carrying a pillion, or when riding on inclines. Yamaha claims the revised setup delivers improved torque assistance without compromising fuel efficiency.
The RayZR lineup also benefits from fresh paint schemes. The RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid disc variant now gets a new Silver White Cocktail shade, while the Street Rally version is offered in a Matte Grey Metallic finish. These colours join the existing palette and add a more premium look to the sporty scooter. Other features continue unchanged. The scooter retains telescopic front suspension, a side-stand engine cut-off function, 21-litre under-seat storage, E20 fuel compatibility, silent start technology, and the stop-start system aimed at improving fuel efficiency. Select variants also continue to offer LED DRLs and Yamaha's Answer Back function.
Engine And Performance

Powering the RayZR is the same 125cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected Blue Core engine paired with Yamaha's hybrid assist technology. Since this is primarily a feature and cosmetic update, Yamaha has not made any changes to the engine or performance figures. The focus remains on improving the ownership experience through added technology and fresh styling rather than outright performance enhancements.
Price And Rivals
The Yamaha RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid range starts at Rs 79,340 (ex-showroom), while the Street Rally variant is priced at Rs 92,970 (ex-showroom). The updated Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid starts from Rs 80,750, with the new TFT-equipped Fascino S variant priced at Rs 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom). In the highly competitive 125cc scooter segment, the RayZR takes on rivals such as the TVS Ntorq 125, Suzuki Avenis, Hero Xoom 125, Honda Dio 125 and the Aprilia SR 125. The combination of hybrid assistance, lightweight construction and connected features continues to be the RayZR's key differentiator in this space.
