BMW CE 02

BMW has launched the CE 02 in India at a starting price of Rs 4.49 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as a quirky, premium urban electric two-wheeler. Unlike conventional scooters, it features a unique design and positioning, targeting city riders looking for something different and fun. It is powered by a 3.92 kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 108 km, along with an electric motor producing around 14.7 bhp and 55 Nm.

BMW Motorrad had confirmed that both the CE 02 and CE 04 electric scooters would make their India debut within the same year, marking a strong push into the premium EV two-wheeler space. The CE 02 is positioned as a more accessible, urban-focused electric model and is expected to be locally manufactured, helping keep costs relatively lower. In contrast, the CE 04 is a high-end electric maxi-scooter, likely to be imported and priced significantly higher.

BMW has confirmed that the CE 02 electric scooter will launch in India, marking its entry into the brand’s urban electric mobility lineup. The CE 02 is a premium, niche electric two-wheeler, positioned more as a lifestyle product than a conventional scooter. Globally already on sale, it is expected to offer around 90 km range, up to 95 km/h top speed, and multiple riding modes, along with features like Bluetooth connectivity and a digital display.
